SHEEP!

SheepSheepSheepSheepSheep
So this entry is going to be all about sheep. Yesterday we went out to this old house called Caulke Abbey, and the most amazing thing was there, hundreds of sheep! Hundreds! Just roaming around the property! We walked right up to them! Anyway so most of the pictures in this posting will be of sheep, me with sheep, my sister with sheep, big sheep, little sheep, sheep sheep sheep! There may be a few odd photos of the garden or something like that but mostly sheep!

Sandringham

Sorry I havent been able to update for the last few days. I havent been able to use my computer to load the pictures. These pictures are from Monday, we visited the Queen's summer home in Sandringham, we were there when we were younger and it was the same as I remembered it but it was still cool to see.

Sorry! No pictures!

I havent been able to access my computer for the last couple of days so I wont be posting pictures again until tomorrow. I have some goreous pictures from yesterday. We visited Sandringham which is the Queen's summer home! We were there when we were little but it was so fun and gorgeous. They have miles and miles of gardens.
For now we are staying in Derby (pronounced Darby). Its been raining so we havent really been able to do as much touring but its still been fun. This morning we toured the Royal Crown Derby china factory and saw where/ how they made all of their china. It's really expensive, the Royal Family uses it on their dinner tables! I hope that it stops raining this afternoon, we are going to go out shopping and exploring! Ill post more later.

I promise pictures tomorrow!

Pictures for day three! Make sure you scroll down to read the entry for day 3 that explains the pictures!

Day 3 English "Countrysiding"

Today we went out to Lavenham. It's a town not too far from here that still has all of the original tudor buildings. It was really neat, the town also had a gorgeous old church, as most English towns do. The church was so fun and interesting, and it was so beautiful!

When we were done at the church we went to walk around the town for a bit before our afternoon tea. All of the houses and buildings were from 1600ad or older! Most of them were probably much older than that. A lot of the houses have thatched roofs, not the original ones obviously! The thatching gets replaced every 100 years; it was so neat to see all of the colors!

This orange house was used as a refuge for children during WWII and then german bombings in London.
If you look past the ugly construction on the bottom left, it is a gorgeous old house! After our walk around town we went down the the "Tickled Pink" tea house to have some lunch and proper afternoon tea! It was so cute, we stayed around for about two hours just talking and having tea. My dad and Bob went to Wimbledon today so it was just a girls tea, my mom Liz and my sisters.

This is all Im going to write for the day. Ill do a whole posting of pictures like I did yesterday. I think I am going to do that everyday. I will do a post that has a little bit about the pictures and then post all pictures for the second entry! Hope you enjoy!

Day 2

Today was fun. We went to church in the morning and then had a whole bunch of people over for a party. It was supposed to be a garden party but SUPRISE! It's raining.
This is Bets and I after church today before the party. It was really fun to see all of the people that we knew when we were little. It was a little strange because there were a lot of people we didn't remember or people who's faces we remembered but not the name.

Our old babysitter Melanie was here and she just had a baby, Joshua Charles and he was soo cute!

This isn't the best picture Ive ever taken but its a sweet one. I will probably post again tonight or add to this one. I just havent taken enough pictures yet to post anything. Tonight Betsy and I are going to Nicks to have some dinner and hang around so Im sure that there will be pictures from that.

More to come later :)
